Meet Dr. Joe Smith
Joe Smith, DDS grew up in Tyler, Texas. His interest in dentistry began while watching his dad, Roy Smith DDS, care for patients. After graduating from Grace Community School in 1999, he attended Texas Christian University and graduated with a major in Biology and a minor in History.
He attended Baylor College of Dentistry and graduated in 2008 with his DDS degree and went on to complete a year-long fellowship in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He returned to Tyler in 2009 to join his dad at Smith Dental Care, fulfilling a lifelong dream to join his personal hero in dentistry.
Dr. Smith is married and has 2 sons. He enjoys golf, spending time with his family, and all the joy and laughter that goes with living the life of a husband and dad.
